Once a primarily male-dominated arena, military schools have started taking on the challenge of preparing girls for the role of serving in the military (about 10% of the students in the major military academies are now female), or if nothing else, learning good personal values. However, none of these schools offer an all-girl campus - they are coed. Girls can gain the same life-changing benefits of military schools that boys have been enjoying for years.
Young women go through the same academic activities in military schools for girls as do the males, as well as the same physical trials. The girls are expected to meet the same physical and academic standards as the boys.
A military school for girls can help her realize her full potential, build her confidence in herself, and develop independence, responsibility, and leadership qualities that will stay with her for life.
